Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 18 months of experience and current ARRT(R) certification to join a busy radiology department on night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Work in a short-term acute care hospital setting with inpatient, outpatient, and emergency patients
• ER has 38 beds and patient population includes neonates, infants, pediatrics, and adults
• Department consists of over 85 employees
• Night shift positions: Wednesday/Thursday 6:00 PM–6:30 AM and Friday 5:30 PM–6:00 AM
• Cerner EMR and Synapse PACS system used
• Candidates must be willing to float within the hospital and to affiliate hospitals when needed
• Duties include performing CT scans for inpatient, outpatient, and ER patients
• Work alongside a team of over 85 radiology professionals
• Free parking available on site
• Scrub color is unit specific
• Candidates may be required to work with patients of all ages, including neonates and pediatrics
• Up to 5 days of non-holiday requested time off can be automatically approved; additional RTO requires facility approval
• Indiana residents are considered local; local candidates accepted for allied positions
• Candidates will be required to float as needed

Requirements

• Minimum of 18 months CT experience required
• Current ARRT(R) certification required; ARRT(CT) preferred
• Indiana Radiology license required if applicable
• BLS certification required (AHA or RQI accepted)
• Completion of a radiology program from a university accredited by ACEN or CCNE
• Experience with Cerner charting required
• Two supervisor references required
• Must be able to work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• First-time travelers will be considered
• Former employees must have a 12-month break before applying
