Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 1.5 years of acute care hospital experience and GE CT equipment proficiency for a night shift assignment.

Responsibilities

• Position is based in a short-term acute care hospital and Level III trauma center
• Assignment includes floating between two hospital sites in Connecticut and Rhode Island
• Night shift schedule with 4x12 hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Call and weekend coverage required as needed by department
• Uses GE CT equipment
• EPIC is the EMR system
• Patient population includes various acute care cases
• Free parking available
• Participation in department call and weekend rotation is required
• Role involves floating between two facilities as needed
• Pre-start online module must be completed before first shift
• Return staff must have a minimum two-year break before returning as a traveler
• Maximum of 7 days of requested time off can be approved automatically
• Scrubs or professional attire must be worn according to departmental policy
• First-time travelers may be considered
• Participation in emergency or disaster response activities may be required

Requirements

• Minimum 1.5 years recent acute care hospital CT experience required
• BLS certification required
• GE CT equipment experience required
• CT state license and Rhode Island state license required; candidate may start with first license issued while the other is pending
• License required if applicable
• Flu vaccine required, no declinations accepted
• COVID vaccination and booster required unless exempt for medical or religious reasons
• Reference required for consideration
• No local candidates accepted unless applying for CT Tech (within 75 miles radius eligible at local rate)
