Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced CT Technologist (ARRT CT, BLS) for a rotating shift assignment in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Position is based in an acute care hospital CT department
• Duties performed using Aquilion Toshiba 64-slice scanners in both department and Emergency Department settings
• Average patient exam volume is 80-100 per day
• Rotating day and afternoon shifts with 8 or 10 hour shifts available
• Schedule includes rotating weekends and holiday coverage
• Charting is completed using Cerner PowerChart
• Radiation badge must be provided by the traveler’s agency
• Gray scrubs required per departmental policy
• No local travelers accepted for this position
• Travelers with prior permanent employment at any WVU Medicine location require a 2-year break before returning as a traveler
• Travelers may not work within WVU facilities for more than 1 year without a 2-year break
• All candidates interview directly with a unit manager
• Background information must be disclosed at the time of consideration

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years CT Technologist experience required
• Current ARRT (CT) certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• Must provide an unexpired copy of driver's license for consideration
