Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with ARRT certification and at least 2 years of experience for an acute care evening shift assignment.

Responsibilities

• Work in an acute care setting within the CT department serving both adult and pediatric patients
• Evening shift Monday through Friday, 4:00pm to 12:30am, 8 hours per shift
• No weekend or holiday work required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Must be able to perform any CT exam and start IVs as needed
• Department utilizes Epic EMR, Canon/Toshiba, and Fuji Synaps imaging equipment
• Black scrubs are required for all technologists
• Radiation badge must be provided by the staffing agency
• A copy of an unexpired driver’s license must be provided for consideration
• Previous employees must have a 2 year break before returning as a traveler
• Candidates cannot work more than one year within the system without a two-year break
• No local travelers will be considered
• Interview process includes direct manager interview

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a CT Technologist
• Current ARRT (CT) certification required
• Current BLS certification from AHA required
• License required if applicable
• Must be able to start IVs independently
• Experience with Epic EMR is preferred
• Driver’s license address must be outside a 50-mile radius from the facility
