CT Scan Technologist – Day Shift (Contract)

Location: Charleston, SC 29425 

Facility: Magnet-Designated Teaching Hospital, Level I Trauma Center 

Shift: 4x10-Hour Days (Monday–Thursday, 07:30–18:00) 

Start Date: November 10, 2025 

Duration: 13 Weeks

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled CT Scan Technologist to join a high-volume imaging team at a leading academic medical center. This role is 100% procedural and requires experience in Level I trauma settings. Candidates must be comfortable floating between sister facilities and participating in on-call rotations.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging procedures using Siemens equipment across a variety of clinical settings
• Support trauma and emergency cases with rapid, high-quality imaging
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams to ensure accurate diagnostics
• Maintain compliance with radiation safety protocols and documentation standards
• Float to sister facilities as needed to meet operational demands

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of Level I trauma experience (1 year preferred)
• Certifications: BLS, ARRT RT(R)(CT), SCRQSA (R)(CT)
• Siemens CT system experience
• Active South Carolina license (must be in hand at time of start)
• Radiation badge (must be provided by agency)

Additional Details

• First-time travelers accepted with prior experience
• Epic charting system
• Scrub color: Teal top and black bottom
• Parking: $20 one-time fee for nights/weekends access
• Guaranteed hours: Facility may call off 1 shift every 2 weeks
• Radius rule: 60 miles; locals accepted at 10% lower rate
• RTO must be submitted at time of application; approval based on unit needs
• Hurricane season (June–November): All staff may be assigned to emergency response teams
