American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with 1.5+ years of experience, BLS, ARRT, and a NJDEP license to perform a variety of advanced CT procedures.

• Work in a hospital CT department, floating to various areas including the ED as needed
• Shift is Friday through Sunday, 9:00 AM to 9:30 PM (3x12s)
• Patient caseload averages 20-25 cases per shift
• Procedures include routine CT, brain perfusions, stroke protocols, and CTA studies
• Equipment includes Siemens and GE CT scanners
• Charting systems used are IDX RIS, Change Healthcare PACS, and Epic
• Candidates are required to float within skillset as needed
• Must work 2 out of 3 winter holidays per assignment policy
• First-time travelers are accepted for this assignment
• Scrub color is royal blue
• Must complete mandatory Epic and facility-specific training modules prior to and annually during assignment
• Return staff policy requires former employees be gone at least one year before eligibility
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
• Clinicians are expected to adhere to the approved schedule, with no changes allowed after assignment begins
• Compliance with attendance and callout policies is required

• Minimum 1.5 years of CT technologist experience required
• BLS and ARRT certifications required
• NJDEP license required prior to start; license required if applicable
• Experience with Siemens and GE CT equipment preferred
• Epic charting experience is beneficial
• Good customer service skills and flexibility are essential
