Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with ARRT (CT) certification and at least 2 years of recent experience for an evening shift assignment.

Responsibilities

• Position based in a non-trauma acute care hospital with 373 licensed beds
• CT department performs an average of 130 studies per day, including CT-guided invasive procedures
• Work schedule is Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 2:00 PM to 12:00 AM
• On-call responsibility for 2-3 shifts per month
• No required weekend rotation
• Travelers will work 75% of holidays
• Patient populations include ED, inpatient, observation, and outpatient
• Uses three Siemens CT scanners (Definition – AS 40, Force, Edge +) and Bayer/Medrad Power Injectors
• EMR: Epic; RIS: Epic Radiant; PACS: Philips iSite
• No floating required
• Radius rule: Permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility
• Duties include performing CT studies, supporting anesthesia cases, and conducting CT-guided invasive procedures
• Department is supported by Guest Services and Patient Transport staff
• Administrative onboarding consists of 1 day of facility training, followed by 2 days to 1 week of departmental orientation as needed
• Scrub color is black
• Surface lot and parking deck available at no cost
• First-time travelers are accepted for this role

Requirements

• Current ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology with advanced registry in CT
• BLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in CT technology
• Ability to start peripheral IVs and perform venous, arterial, and multi-phase scanning
• Experience with stroke imaging including perfusion and colorectal studies
• TeraRecon software knowledge preferred but not required
• Experience with Epic EMR, Epic Radiant, and Philips iSite preferred
• License required if applicable
