Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for night shifts with Level 1 Trauma and EPIC charting experience required.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital CT Scan department serving a Level 1 Trauma patient population
• Night shift schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Performs computerized axial tomography procedures, including multiplanar reformats and 3D rendered images
• Administers IV, oral, and rectal contrast for studies as appropriate
• Uses EPIC electronic medical record system; prior EPIC experience required
• Responsible for performing CT procedures and assigned invasive procedures following department protocols
• Reviews cases with radiologists as appropriate and manages patient history for correct exam selection
• Screens patients for possible pregnancy and performs pregnancy testing if indicated
• Assists with instruction of students or new staff as needed
• May be expected to cross-train or assist in other imaging modalities within licensed scope
• No local candidates accepted; must reside outside a 50-mile radius
• RTO (requested time off) not to exceed 7 days per 13-week contract
• Contingent workers may not remain on assignment for more than one year consecutively and must take a 6-month break before returning
• Scrubs or dress code requirements not specified

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year CT experience in a hospital or trauma setting
• Associate's degree or certificate in Radiologic Technology required
• Current IEMA Radiography License required if applicable
• ARRT (R) certification or NMTCB certification required
• Computed Tomography (CT) ARRT certification required
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
• Documented Level 1 Trauma experience required
• Demonstrated experience with EPIC charting
