Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an ARRT-certified CT Technologist with radiography experience and Ohio state licensure for a night shift assignment in a Level I trauma setting.

Responsibilities

• Level I trauma hospital setting
• CT Tech unit with a typical volume of 270-290 scans per day
• Night shifts, 3x12 hours from 18:00 to 06:30
• Work every fourth weekend and holidays as assigned
• Call assigned within staff rotation
• Uses GE and Toshiba/Cannon CT equipment
• EMR is Epic
• Performs diagnostic CT and routine radiographic procedures in accordance with professional guidelines
• Ensures radiation safety for patients and staff
• Prepares patients and positions them according to department protocols
• Charcoal grey scrubs required
• Candidates must have a permanent address more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited radiography program
• Current ARRT certification in CT and X-ray required
• Ohio state radiology license required; pending license accepted
• BLS certification required
• 2 years of experience preferred, may consider less with Level I or II trauma experience
• Experience in large hospital or trauma Level I/II environment preferred
• Experience with GE and/or Toshiba/Cannon CT equipment
