Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist experienced in inpatient, outpatient, and ER settings for a night shift contract with BLS and ARRT required.

Responsibilities

• Work in a teaching hospital within the CT Tech department
• Care for both inpatient and outpatient populations, including emergency room patients
• Night shift schedule with 12-hour shifts on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Holiday rotation may be applicable if shifts fall on designated holidays
• Floating to different units within the organization may be required
• X-ray procedures include extremities, abdomen/GI, spine/pelvis, head, and chest/thorax
• Preferred experience with Siemens CT scanners
• Responsibilities include performing a variety of CT and x-ray procedures across different patient populations
• Must be willing and able to float to designated areas as needed
• Immediate fingerprinting upon contract signing is mandatory for credentialing
• Candidates must be prompt and responsive during credentialing to avoid risk of assignment delay or cancellation
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
• Former employees are eligible if separated for six months or more
• Current employees of the organization are not eligible for travel assignments at any of its hospital locations
• Requested time off must be included at the time of submission

Requirements

• Current BLS certification required
• ARRT certification required
• Experience in IV starts and administering contrast required
• Experience in inpatient, outpatient, and emergency room settings required
• Teaching hospital experience preferred
• Two professional references required, with at least one from a supervisor, manager, or formal leader
• License required if applicable
