Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for night shifts with at least one year of CT experience and ARRT certification.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital-based radiology CT scan department
• Night shift schedule: 7 on, 7 off, 10-hour shifts from 7:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Includes weekend and on-call responsibilities
• May be required to float to other facilities within a 60-mile radius as needed
• Uses Epic EMR for charting
• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures and administer IV contrast as required
• Ensure adherence to radiation safety standards and ALARA principles
• Prepare patients for exams and provide procedure instructions
• Responsible for equipment preparation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
• Assist in clinical training for students or staff technologists
• Compliance with all state, federal, accreditation, and hospital regulations is required
• Flu vaccination required during flu season (Nov 1 – Mar 31); medical exemptions only, no religious exemptions
• Local candidates not eligible; must live at least 60 miles from facility

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year CT technologist experience
• Current ARRT(R), ARRT(CT), ARRT(N), ARRT(T), or CNMT registry; or state CT registry with CT training
• Current BLS certification through AHA required
• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred
• License required if applicable
• No pending licenses allowed for consideration
