Facility: HCA Florida JFK Medical Center
Location: 5301 South Congress Avenue, Atlantis, FL 33462
Unit: CT Tech – Radiology (Cost Center 726)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Monday–Wednesday, 9:00 AM – 9:30 PM
Guaranteed Hours: Not specified

• Beds: 472
• Specialties: Cardiovascular care, neuroscience, oncology, orthopedics, bariatrics, women’s services
• Designation: Teaching facility, nationally ranked

Unit Details:

• Beds: 24
• Staff: ~14 total (Radiologists, CT Techs, MRI Techs, Ultrasound Techs)
• Day Shift: Director, Radiologist, 6–7 Techs
• Night Shift: Charge RN, On-call team, 3–4 Techs
• Patient Ratios: 1:1 or 1:2 depending on patient stability
• Equipment: GE equipment (MRI units, scanners, cameras, fluoroscopy)
• EMR: Meditech
• Procedures: CT scans, MRIs, body scans, X-rays
• Call Requirement: 4–6 shifts/month (on off days)

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum 2 years
• Certifications:
  • ARRT (CT)
  • BLS
  • Florida State DOH License
• Preferred: Experience with GE equipment and Meditech
• Skills:
  • Strong communication and anatomical knowledge
  • Ability to multitask and work with diverse teams
• Dress Code: Black scrubs (must provide own)
