Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for evening shifts, requiring 2 years of CT experience and ARRT (CT) certification.

Responsibilities

• Work in an acute care setting on the CT unit
• Performs CT imaging for both adult and pediatric patients in all areas except IR, which is only adults
• Uses Epic EMR, Canon/Toshiba, and Fuji Synaps equipment
• Evening shifts Monday to Friday, 4:00pm – 12:30am
• No weekends, holidays, or call required
• Must be able to start IVs
• Two CT techs cover inpatient and one covers outpatient
• Black scrubs required
• Performs all types of CT imaging studies for adults and pediatrics except IR studies, which are limited to adults
• No lead tech; reports to Radiology Director/Manager
• Travelers will not work weekends or holidays
• Must be off the WVU system for 2 years if previously employed or completed a prior travel assignment of one year
• No local travelers accepted
• Must provide an unexpired copy of driver’s license for consideration

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CT experience required
• Current ARRT certification with CT credential required
• Current BLS certification through AHA required
• State license required if applicable
• Valid driver’s license with address outside a 50-mile radius from the facility
• Must provide a radiation badge (agency supplied)
• Must be able to perform all types of CT exams and start IVs
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred
