Travel Ultrasound Technician
Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Compensation: Up to $2,280/week (based on experience)
Schedule: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking an experienced Travel Ultrasound Technician for an exciting opportunity with one of our partner healthcare facilities in Atlanta, GA . This position is ideal for skilled professionals with recent breast imaging experience who are looking to expand their expertise in a dynamic travel assignment.
Job Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations with a focus on breast imaging
Prepare and position patients for optimal imaging results
Operate ultrasound equipment safely and effectively while ensuring high-quality images
Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to interpret results and support patient care
Maintain patient records and ensure accurate documentation of procedures
Adhere to all hospital policies, safety guidelines, and best practices in patient care

Education and Certification Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of recent ultrasound experience required
Recent breast ultrasound experience required
Registered with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field preferred
