Job Requirements

Education Requirements: Completion of a Surgical Technology program accredited by a recognized agency.
Certifications Requirements: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Surgical Technology Certification (TS-C), BLS certification, ACLS preferred.
Experience Requirements: None required; however, previous surgical tech experience is preferred.
Other Requirements: Ability to work flexible hours, strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, ability to stand for extended periods.

Job Responsibilities

Provide sterile surgical instrumentation for procedures according to physician's protocols and standards.
Assist during surgeries by passing instruments, holding retractors, and anticipating supplies needed during operations.
Maintain strict aseptic techniques and ensure the surgical environment remains sterile at all times.
Prepare operating rooms, sterilize equipment, and organize supplies to ensure smooth surgical workflow.
Monitor patient status and assist with positioning, documentation, and immediate postoperative care under supervision.
