Travel Operating Room Technologist - Lancaster, PA
Contract Length: 13 Weeks | Weekly Compensation: Up to $2,250 (Based on Experience)
Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is partnered with a premier hospital in Lancaster, Pennsylvania to find an experienced Travel Operating Room Technologist . This is an exciting opportunity to advance your surgical technology career while enjoying competitive pay and flexible scheduling.
Position Details:

Schedule: 3 x 12-hour shifts (7:00am - 7:30pm)
No block scheduling
One 8-hour shift required every 3rd weekend
Weekend call rotation every 3rd weekend (16 hours)
Weekend shifts may include: 7:00am - 3:30pm, 3:00pm - 11:30pm, 11:00pm - 7:00am
Weekend call hours: Friday 5:30pm - Monday 7:00am
Up to 8 hours of late call required after scheduled shifts
Call requirement: Must arrive within 30 minutes of receiving call

Job Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain a sterile surgical environment for procedures
Assist surgeons during orthopedic and general surgery cases
Anticipate and provide instruments and supplies efficiently during procedures
Ensure proper functioning of surgical instruments and equipment
Collaborate closely with surgeons, nurses, and surgical teams for optimal patient outcomes
Adhere to hospital safety standards and infection control protocols

Education and Certification Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred
Current BLS Certification (AHA required)
Minimum 1 year of Operating Room experience required

Required Skills:

Strong experience in orthopedics and general surgery
Proficiency with major surgical systems (Zimmer, Synthes, Arthrex, etc.)
Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and call assignments
Excellent attention to detail and ability to remain calm under pressure
