Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant
Location: Cranston RI
Shift : 7:00am-7:30pm (Every Sat / Sun), 24hr/week
Accepting only Local candidates.

If selected - Agility Test must be completed/passed within 4 business days of initial offer.

Position no longer requires a CNA License but must specifically have in-patient hospital psych experience - minimum 1 year.  In-patient MHW experience should be working with forensic &/or adult persistently mentally ill patients.  Candidate Strength is a significant factor with this position - must be physically fit, and able to quickly intervene and restrain patients of a population that is big/young/strong in the event of a psychiatric emergency.  See NEW job description and Agility Test requirements attached.  

Insufficient experience includes work in:  Nursing Homes, Rehab facilities, hospitals/facilities where the candidate has only "floated " in/out of a psych unit, or other typical medical (non-psych) facility experience.

RISPH suggests the following:  MHW experience from Butler Hospital, any Psychiatric Unit at an acute care hospital (worked primarily on psychiatric unit – not just floating), ESH in Cranston, AM Building/Adult Psych services.  RISPH will accept experience as a Security officer in any of these types of settings or other hospital settings.

Shift is 7:00am-7:30pm (Every Sat / Sun)
Offer is contingent upon a Physical Agility Test that must be passed within 4 business days of the offer.  See attached description for specific information.
