Travel Clinical Dietitian I - Jefferson Health System

Job Description

Aramark Healthcare+ is seeking a highly motivated Travel Clinical Dietitian I for the Jefferson Health System, based at Jefferson Torresdale Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. This position will provide clinical coverage at Jefferson Torresdale Hospital, Jefferson Montgomery Hospital and occasionally at other campuses in the surrounding Southeast Pennsylvania area. 

Job Responsibilities

• Assess patient's nutritional status and develop individualized nutrition plans based on their medical history, current health status, and specific needs
• Provide education and counseling to patients and their families on proper nutrition, healthy eating habits, and lifestyle changes
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement clinical protocols and best practices for nutrition care
• Monitor patients' progress and make modifications to their nutrition plans as needed
• Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in the field of clinical nutrition

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master?s degree in nutrition or a related field.
• Registered Dietitian (RD) certification or RD eligibile
• At least one year of clinical experience preferred
• Licensed Dietitian status in Pennsylvania required
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.

Conditions of employment include busy hospital and outpatient settings, from patient rooms/floors to kitchen/serving areas.
