Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Advanced Ultrasound Vascular Technologist with RDMS (AB and RVT) certification and strong vascular imaging skills.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital-based setting performing 6-8 vascular exams per day
• Case types include vascular ultrasound, vein mapping, varithena, sclerotherapy, and related procedures
• Uses Philips Epiq ultrasound machines
• EPIC charting experience is required
• 8-hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Rotating call schedule includes approximately one day per week and occasional weekends
• Floating to other locations in the south region may be required
• Must be able to perform vein mapping, varithena, sclerotherapy, and comprehensive vascular exams
• Professional appearance is required; scrubs of any color may be worn
• Candidates should demonstrate effective communication and team collaboration
• Contract allows for 36 hours of unbillable low census on-call hours
• Travelers may be placed on call for low census hours
• Call-back pay will be provided if called back to the facility

Requirements

• Current RDMS (AB and RVT) certification is required
• Current BLS certification is required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in vascular ultrasound is required
• Strong vascular experience and excellent imaging skills are required
• Epic EMR experience is required
• License required if applicable
