About The Position
Job Title: CVOR Surgical Technologist Profession: Surgical Tech Specialty: Cardio OR Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Days Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Not required Certifications: BLS, CST Must-Have: Cerner experience Completion of all training modules prior to arrival Description: The position is for a CVOR Surgical Technologist. The role requires working in a team-oriented environment. Techs will assist in an active cardiovascular operating room. The surgical unit features several operating rooms. On average, the facility handles a wide variety of surgical cases daily. There is a strong open heart surgery program requiring support. Travelers should be flexible with scheduling, particularly on evenings and weekends. Employees will be expected to be on-call as per the unit's requirements. Weekend work may be required, but weekday coverage is prioritized. Provided scrubs will be required for all techs. No floating to other units will occur. Able to work a 12-hour or 8-hour mid-shift may be needed. The procedural caseload varies but can be high. A charge nurse will be available on staff for support. All surgical staff must maintain necessary certification and training standards.
