Title: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
Location: Springfield, OR
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day Shift, 4x10-Hour (06:45 - 17:15)
Start Date: October 27, 2025

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide scrub assistance for a high-volume surgical services unit performing 50–70 cases daily.
• Independently support procedures across multiple specialties:
  • Orthopedics (including total joints and trauma)
  • Neurosurgery (including craniotomies)
  • General and trauma surgery
  • Vascular surgery (AAA, carotids, femoral)
  • GYN/Urology
  • Robotics (including Da Vinci Xi and DV5 systems)
• Perform ophthalmic procedures such as vitrectomies, scleral buckles, and cataracts (preferred).
• Set up and maintain surgical instruments, supplies, and sterile fields.
• Follow infection control, sterilization, and aseptic protocols with precision.
• Participate in a rotating call schedule (up to four 8-hour shifts per 4-week cycle) and occasional weekend shifts.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team during day and night shifts, including scenarios with minimal staff support.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of recent CST experience in fast-paced, trauma-designated facilities.
• Must be highly proficient in:
  • Robotic surgery (multiple specialties)
  • Major vascular cases (e.g., AAA repairs)
  • Neuro and orthopedic trauma cases
  • Eye surgeries (preferred but highly desired)
• Must be capable of working without vendor assistance for joint procedures (knees, hips, and preferably shoulders).
• Previous experience in Level II Trauma center required; Level I experience preferred.
• Epic charting experience preferred.
