Job Title: CST/ORT Profession: CST/ORT Specialty: OR Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:30 - 17:00 Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: CST for scrub tech, RN license for nurses Certifications: Required certifications - CST Description: General Comments: Data Collection: Unit Information: Number of Beds: 5 Operating Rooms: 3 open and 2 hybrids Number of Staff: 15 Type of Staff: Day shift RN, CST, PCT, on-call night shift staff Patient Ratios (Estimated): 1:1 Type of Equipment: OR EMR - Meditech Typical Hiring Profile Skill Set: Must Have: CST for scrub tech, RN license for nurses. Preferred: CNOR for nurses. Typical Procedures: CABG, AVR, MVR, aortic replacements, vascular procedures, heart transplants. Best Personality Fit: HCA culture. Floating Area: Spine OR. Dress Code: Scrub color/attire provided for OR staff. Unit Guidelines/Policies: Protocol for on-call response is 45 minutes, measured from call to clocking in. Weekends and On-Call: Weekends and nights covered by call shifts.
