Surgical Technologist – Evening Shift

Facility: Lahey Clinic Hospital - LHMC
Location: 41 Mall Road, Burlington, MA 01805
Start Date: October 6, 2025
End Date: January 3, 2026
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Evening Shift (11:00 AM – 11:00 PM)
Schedule: Approximately 36 hours/week, including 1 weekend shift per month and 1-2 variable shifts/month

Position Overview:

Lahey Clinic Hospital is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist for a 13-week evening shift travel assignment in the Operating Room. The role supports surgical procedures in specialties including Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Transplant, and Cardiac surgery. The position requires adherence to high standards of surgical care and safety.

Certifications & Requirements:

Active MA Surgical Technologist license at time of submission
National Surgical Technologist Certification (CST) – Required
BLS/CPR Certification – Required
2025-2026 Flu Vaccine – Required at time of submission (declinations not accepted; attestation acceptable if vaccine to be received prior to start)
BILH Coversheet – Required
Cannot have worked (perm/travel/PRN) at any Beth Israel facility within the last 6 months
Facility is not accepting local candidates

Experience Required:

Experience in Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Transplant, and Cardiac surgical cases preferred
Previous travel experience preferred
Ability to work variable shifts and weekend coverage as required

Skills & Competencies:

Proficient in surgical instrumentation and sterile techniques
Familiarity with surgical workflows in high-acuity specialties
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control practices
Flexibility to cover variable shifts and call assignments
