Cath Lab Technologist Location: Washington, DC 

Start Date: December 1, 2025

We are seeking a highly skilled Cath Lab Technologist with strong experience in Peripheral Vascular Interventions to join our team at a short-term acute care teaching hospital in Washington, DC. This is a full-time travel contract with a fixed start date and no holiday exceptions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures including adult catheterizations, angioplasty, stent placement, and pacemaker insertions
• Support specialized procedures such as bone marrow harvest, interventional pulmonary, and dialysis graft interventions
• Monitor hemodynamic data and recognize life-threatening arrhythmias
• Maintain sterile technique and scrub/circulate procedures
• Set up equipment, prep access sites, and manage fluoroscopy imaging
• Float between diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab settings

Schedule Details:

• Day shift: 4x10-hour (07:00–17:30)
• No holidays off
• Staffing ratio: 1:5
• Must be available to start on December 1, 2025

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience
• At least one prior travel assignment
• Experience with adult and geriatric populations
• Strong background in high-acuity cardiovascular and peripheral procedures

Required Certifications:

• BLS
• ACLS
• ARRT CI or ARRT VI
• CCI RCIS
• ARRT or RCIS accepted
