Unit Information

• Hospital Beds: 272
• Cath Suites: 2
• Staffing:
  • Day Shift: 3–5 Techs, 2–4 RNs
  • Night Shift: On-call coverage
• Equipment Used: Philips and GE systems
• EMR Systems: Meditech and Mac Lab
• Call Requirement: 8–10 days/month, including one weekend
• Dress Code: Scrubs provided by hospital

Required Skills & Experience

Must-Have Qualifications:

• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• Basic Cath Lab skills including scrubbing and monitoring
• Experience with conscious moderate sedation

Preferred Qualifications:

• RCIS certification
• ARRT certification

Typical Procedures Performed

• Diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization
• Conscious sedation administration
• Monitoring and scrubbing during procedures
