Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Cath Lab or IR Tech with at least 2 years of recent cath lab experience for a travel assignment at a Level I trauma center.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital-based cardiac cath lab at a Level I trauma center
• Primarily day shifts with a 4x10 schedule, though shift may change during interview
• On-call and weekend coverage required as needed
• Adult patient population
• Some floating may occur within similar units as per facility policy
• Cerner EMR is used, and experience with Cerner is preferred
• Block scheduling is not available
• Travelers must be willing to work at least 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's) if all fall during the assignment, or 1 of 2 if only two fall during the contract
• All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application; no additional RTO will be approved after submission
• Former employees must have a one-year separation before returning as travelers
• Cerner experience is preferred but not required

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years recent cath lab or IR tech experience required; 3 years preferred
• Must have completed at least 1 previous travel assignment
• Active relevant license required; must be in compliance with NLC guidelines if applicable
• No first-time travelers will be considered
• Driver's license required for consideration
• Candidates must live at least 100 miles from the facility
• Pending licensure is not accepted
• Vaccination status must be provided
