About The Position
Job Title: Registered Cardiac Sonographer Profession: Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Monday - Friday Hours per Shift: 08:00 - 16:30 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: RDCS or RCS Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. RDCS or RCS certification is required. Ability to perform a complete echo with a full report in one hour is essential. Description: The role involves performing echocardiograms in a clinical setting. Candidates should be self-motivated, team-oriented, and have a positive attitude. Typical procedures performed include TTE, treadmill stress echo, dobutamine stress echo, and TEE. Preferred skills include TEE experience, stress echo experience, and pediatric experience. Weekend requirements include being on-call for one weekend a month. Call starts at 20:00 to 07:00 the following morning on weekends and holidays. Professional solid color scrubs are required for the position.
