Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Cardiovascular Technologist - CV Tech Senior

Job Details:

• Work 8-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM (7:30 AM - 3:30 PM weekends)
• Full-time position working 5 days per week
• Call and call back responsibilities required with 30-minute onsite response time
• May be required to work overtime with little or no notice
• Function as scrub technician for cardiac pacemakers/defibrillators and diagnostic procedures
• Assist cardiologists, vascular surgeons, and radiologists in cardiac diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Prepare cardiac cath lab and compile patient information and documentation
• Operate electronic monitoring equipment for patient EKG and hemodynamics
• Operate angiographic equipment to produce high quality studies
• Maintain sterile field and pass instruments, catheters, and supplies during procedures
• Schedule patients and ensure appropriate supplies and equipment availability
• Maintain and troubleshoot physiologic and hemodynamic equipment
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Graduate of approved Radiological Sciences program or Allied Health Science degree required
• 2-4 years experience as Radiology or Cardiovascular Technologist required
• Minimum 1-3 years experience with cardiac catheterization procedures required
• Medical Radiologist Technologist (MRT) certification through TMB and ARRT required
• RCIS or RCES certification required for cardiovascular technologist graduates
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (AHA only)
