This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shifts available include 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM for days, 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM for evenings, and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM for nights. This role includes 1:4 weekends and one overnight call as required.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Cardiac Surgery Technologist (CST) with a focus on adult cardiac procedures. Pediatric cardiac experience is a plus. Candidates must be proficient in key procedures including CABG, valve replacements, and aortic dissections.

Responsibilities

• Assist in cardiac surgeries with a focus on adult patients.
• Prepare and maintain a sterile environment in the operating room.
• Work collaboratively with surgeons, nurses, and other medical staff.
• Participate in trauma call as per specialty team rules.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CST with cardiac focus.
• CST certification is required.
• Experience in Level 1 trauma settings is preferred.
