Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and ARRT/BLS certification for diagnostic and interventional cardiac and vascular procedures.

Responsibilities

• Acute care hospital setting in a teaching hospital with Level 3 trauma designation
• Work primarily in cardiovascular and peripheral vascular cath lab procedures
• Daily caseload per technologist ranges from 16 to 24 cases
• Shift is 4x10 hours, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, day shift
• On-call is required, including three weekends per contract and one night a week
• No floating to other units or facilities required
• Epic (Excellian) and MacLab/Cardiolab charting systems are used; experience preferred
• Scrubs are provided by the unit
• Locals accepted for this radiology position
• Parking is available with a flat fee depending on shift
• Responsibilities include scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating for all cardiac and vascular cath lab cases
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Return staff must have been gone at least 3 months since last perm position
• Pre-start modules are required and will be compensated
• RTO ideally should not exceed 5 days for the duration of the assignment
• Fingerprinting is required and must be completed before the start date as per Minnesota state requirements
• Travelers will not float outside of their core unit
• Parking details and costs will be provided upon assignment

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years recent cath lab experience required
• Current ARRT and BLS certification required
• Experience in scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating required
• Prior experience with both diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures required
• Epic (Excellian) and MacLab/Cardiolab experience preferred
• Ability to handle a high caseload efficiently
• Supervisor reference required for consideration
• License required if applicable
