Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray for night shifts, requiring at least 1 year of experience and Epic charting proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Work in a short-term acute care hospital on the X-Ray unit
• Patient ratio is 1:1
• Night shifts are scheduled as 4x10s from 22:00 to 08:00
• No floating between units, but may be required to float to nearby sister facilities
• Charting is performed using Epic EMR and Epic experience is required
• First-time travelers are accepted
• Must commit to working at least 3 out of the 5 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, or New Year's Day
• Scrubs of any color are acceptable except in OR/L&D, where they are provided
• Floating to affiliate hospitals may be required; refusal to float can result in termination of assignment
• Returning employees must wait at least 3 months before returning as travelers and cannot live within 50 miles of the facility
• Maximum of 6 requested days off or 3 consecutive days off will be auto-approved; additional time off requests require approval
• Modules are completed pre-start and annually, averaging 16 hours to complete

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an X-Ray Technologist
• Epic EMR experience required
• Ability to work night shifts as scheduled
• License required if applicable
• Must provide two supervisory references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Must have a vehicle for travel between facilities
