Title: Echo Tech / Cardiac Sonographer
Location: Toledo, OH
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day, 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:30)

Job Responsibilities & Requirements:
Perform adult echo studies on inpatients and outpatients (average 9 patients/day)
Conduct portable and bedside studies
Participate in weekend rotation (typically every 5th-6th weekend)
On-call duties on weekends (Friday–Sunday) and possibly 1 weekday
Must live within a 60-mile radius of the facility

Required Experience:
Minimum 3 years of experience in a large tertiary care center
(May screen candidates with less if highly skilled)
Experience in teaching hospital setting
Experience with Trauma Level I patients

Required Certifications:
BLS
RDCS (Adult) or RCS

Required Skills:
Adult Echo
Bubble Study
Imaging with Contrast Agents
Portable Studies
Right Ventricular Inflow/Outflow Tract
EPIC charting (preferred)
Experience with Philips and PACS equipment (preferred)

Preferred Skills:
3-D Echo
M-Mode
Pharmacologic & Treadmill Stress Echo
Transesophageal Echocardiogram (TEE)

Work Settings:
Adult acute care
Outpatient
ER (preferred)

Patient Population:
Adolescents, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics
