Job Title: Travel Cardiac Sonographer/Echo Tech
Facility: Comanche County Hospital
Shift: 3x12's Nights – 7 PM to 7 AM, Friday through Sunday
Start Date: 10/11/2025
Assignment Length: 5 months (until 02/14/2026)

Position Overview:
Join the dedicated imaging team at Comanche County Hospital as a Travel Cardiac Sonographer/Echo Tech. In this role, you will perform high-quality cardiac ultrasound exams, including echocardiograms, to support accurate diagnosis and patient care. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform transthoracic echocardiograms and other cardiac imaging procedures with precision and attention to detail.
• Prepare patients and explain procedures clearly to ensure comfort and cooperation.
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal image quality.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to interpret and communicate imaging findings.
• Adhere to safety protocols and infection control standards at all times.
• Document procedures accurately and complete necessary reports in a timely manner.

What You Bring:

• Proven experience as a Cardiac Sonographer with proficiency in echocardiography techniques.
• Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
• Excellent technical skills with ultrasound equipment.
• Compassionate patient care and effective communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work on nights and weekends as scheduled.

Preferred Education & Experience:

• Certification in Cardiac Sonography/Echocardiography from a recognized body such as CCI, ARDMS, or CAAHEP.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience performing echocardiograms in a clinical setting.
• Previous experience working in a hospital environment preferred.

Certifications & Licenses:

• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent certification.
• Licensed as required by state regulations, if applicable.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Weekly Stipend: $1,116.08
