Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cath Lab - Electrophysiology (EP) position requiring an active MI RN license and advanced cardiac life support certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in the hospital Cath Lab specializing in electrophysiology procedures
• Care for catheterization and angiography patients
• Operate equipment such as cardiac output monitors, hemodynamic monitors, pacemakers/ICDs, and intraaortic balloon pumps
• Expected to scrub in for procedures with physicians
• Epic EMR is used and experience is preferred
• Schedule requests must be made before consideration
• Local candidates within a 50-mile radius will not be considered
• Responsibilities include direct patient care, equipment operation, scrubbing, and detailed recording of procedure data
• Navy blue scrubs are required
• Maximum of 5 days of requested time off will be considered
• Local travelers may only complete one travel assignment
• References and recent skills checklist must be provided for consideration

Requirements

• Active Michigan RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
• Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab or EP nursing experience required
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred
