Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer with at least 2 years of experience and ARDMS and BLS certifications to perform echocardiograms across all age groups.

Responsibilities

• Hospital-based assignment specializing in cardiac sonography
• Patient population includes neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Uses GE equipment for echocardiography procedures
• Day shift schedule: 5x8 hours, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Weekend shift required every third weekend
• On-call rotation every third week
• Bi-weekly orientation provided
• Duties include performing and interpreting echocardiograms on patients of all ages
• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• Navy blue scrubs are required
• Local candidates within a 75-mile radius are accepted at a modified rate

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of echo sonography experience required
• Current ARDMS and BLS certifications required
• Proficiency operating GE echocardiography equipment is required
• One supervisory reference from the past year is required for consideration
• Full SSN and DOB must be provided for documentation
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions or declinations accepted
• License required if applicable
