Days: Monday - Friday, Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, with on-call requirements every 3rd weekend and 10-13 days a month.

Job Description

The Cardiac Cath Lab Technician demonstrates critical thinking skills and judgment in assisting with the performance of imaging studies in the Cardiac Cath Lab. The Technician is responsible and accountable for performing studies timely, under the direction of the Cardiologist, Chief Technologist, or Director of Imaging Services.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities include:

• Scrubbing and monitoring cardiac catheterization cases.
• Assisting with the performance of imaging studies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1 year of travel experience required.
• 1-2 years of previous Cath Lab experience required.
• ARRT certification required.
• ACLS, BLS, and RCIS certifications required.
• EP experience is preferred but not required.
