Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and current BLS, ACLS, and ARRT certification.

Responsibilities

• Short term acute care hospital with a Level I Trauma and teaching environment
• Cathersization lab setting with occasional float to outpatient cath lab for procedures
• 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Weekend shifts as needed and 18 days of on-call responsibility over 8 weeks
• Uses Cerner EMR; experience with Cerner is preferred
• Procedures may include EP and Structural Heart cases
• May be required to float within the hospital or to affiliate hospitals based on skill set and census
• First-time travelers will be considered
• Scrubs are provided in the Cath Lab
• Free parking available
• Must adhere to all quality and patient safety standards including medication administration protocols
• Testing and modules must be completed during orientation; modules average 6 hours
• No RTO is allowed during the first week of the assignment due to orientation
• Must work at least 2 out of 3 major holidays; limited RTO approval for holidays
• Previous employees of this hospital system must wait 12 months before being considered as a traveler
• Return travelers are ineligible if a previous contract was cancelled within 10 days of start date
• Locals are accepted

Requirements

• At least 2 years of recent experience as a Cath Lab Technologist
• Current BLS, ACLS, and ARRT certifications required
• License required if applicable
• Experience with EP, Structural Heart, MacLab, and Xper preferred
• Must provide two professional references, with one from the most recent employer within the past year
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
