Travel Cath Lab Tech Opportunity – BayCare Health System

Schedule & Shift Details

• Shift Type: 4x10-hour days (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
• Guaranteed Hours: Apply after first call-off per pay period
• Weekend Requirement: None
• On-Call Requirement: Yes – as needed
• Block Scheduling: Not available
• Orientation: 40 hours (all billable)
• Scrubs: Provided
• Parking: Included

Job Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 2 years required
• Travel Experience: Required
• Certifications Required:
  • BLS (AHA)
  • ACLS (AHA)
  • CCI RCIS (preferred)
• Licensure: Active state license (pending not accepted)
• Local Policy: Local candidates within 35 miles receive a 10% rate reduction
• Charting System: Cerner (preferred)
• First-Time Travelers: Not accepted
• RTO Policy: No RTO allowed in contract; may be discussed during interview

Skills & Responsibilities

Core Skills:

• Scrub, circulate, and monitor procedures
• EKG lead placement
• Accurate procedural monitoring

Cardiac Cath Lab Procedures:

• Left & right heart catheterization
• PCI, PTCA, cardiac stent placement
• Impella insertion, rotablader athrectomy
• TAVR, ASD closures, ECMO (preferred)
• AAA repair, TCAR, EVAR
• Thrombectomy, carotid endarterectomy
• Cardioversion, TEE
• Cardiac ablation, mapping, AICD insertion/programming
• LAA closure, pacemaker insertion, Watchman device
• Tilt Table Study, Afib ablations (RF & Cryo)

Additional Procedures:

• Inferior Vena Cava (IVC) filter placement
• Neurological thrombolysis/thrombectomy

Preferred Equipment Experience:

• Xper Hemodynamic Monitoring System
• IVUS, Athrectomy CSI, Penumbra, Peripherals

• Operating Rooms: 3 Cath Lab suites
• Daily Caseload: 7–20 cases per tech
