Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring a NC or compact license and at least one year of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Cardiac Cath Lab within a hospital setting
• Typical hours are 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, day shift
• Care for cardiac patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Perform patient care and monitoring during cardiac catheterization and related procedures
• Adhere to hospital and department policies regarding patient safety and procedure protocols
• Scrub requirements will follow hospital policy
• First-time travelers may be considered for this position

Requirements

• Active NC or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience in a cath lab or similar setting
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (RQI certifications not accepted)
• Must provide Social Security number and date of birth for consideration
• COVID vaccination required
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Permanent address must be more than 60 miles from the facility
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full time
