**Job Title: Cardiac Catheterization Technologist**

**Shift:** Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:00)

**Location:** New York

**Job Description:**

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cardiac Catheterization Technologist to join our team in a dynamic healthcare setting. This position requires a strong background in cardiovascular procedures and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures.
- Utilize equipment and techniques for procedures including:
- Cardiac Implant Closure Device placement
- Cardiac Stent Placement
- Diagnostic Catheterizations for adults
- Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) placement and removal
- Left and Right Heart Catheterization
- Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI)
- Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty (PTCA)
- Rotablader athrectomy.

- Ensure the maintenance of a sterile field during all procedures.
- Act as a room circulator and scrub technician.
- Recognize and respond to life-threatening arrhythmias.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Adhere to isolation precautions and sterile technique.

**Qualifications:**

- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or similar setting.
- Valid New York State license required prior to submission.
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT (Registered), CCI (RCIS).
- Experience with EPIC charting system is a must.
- Ability to float between different clinical areas as required.

**Patient Population:**

- Care for middle adult and older adult patients.

**Unit Details:**

- The unit accepts first-time travelers.
- Must be able to accommodate patient ratios and float as necessary.
- Orientation and training hours provided to ensure a smooth integration into the team.
