Day shift, 4x10 hours (from 07:30 to 18:00), with on-call requirements.

Job Description

The Cath Lab Technologist utilizes specialized high-technology equipment to perform endovascular procedures, assisting with the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac and peripheral vascular disease. The role requires monitoring of patients’ hemodynamic status and documentation during procedures while maintaining sterile fields and assisting in the facilitation of various cardiac catheterization procedures.

Responsibilities

• Accurate monitoring of patient status during procedures.
• Equipment setup and maintenance.
• Preparation of access sites and recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias.
• Support as room circulator and scrubbed-in role to maintain a sterile field.
• Experience with vascular closure systems such as Perclose and StarClose.
• Performing various cardiac Cath lab procedures including but not limited to stent placements, catheterizations, and interventional procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 1.5 to 2 years of experience in a Diagnostic Cardiac Cath Lab setting.
• Must hold an A.R.R.T. certification, BLS, and ACLS certifications.
• State licensure required; may submit with license pending but must be active prior to start.
