Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist with 2+ years of recent experience and a current California ARRT license for a busy cardiac catheterization environment.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a hospital-based cardiac catheterization lab
• Responsibilities include scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring Cath Lab procedures such as coronary angiograms with PCI, pacemakers, and peripheral aortograms
• Predominantly adult cardiac and peripheral vascular cases
• 4x10 hour day shifts available, 6:45 AM–5:15 PM or 8:45 AM–7:15 PM
• 8-12 call shifts per month required, including one weekend of call per month
• Charting is done using Epic, with previous Epic EMR experience preferred
• Must be available to complete onboarding lab work within 3-5 days of signing
• One holiday off approved for time off requests; additional holiday RTO not permitted
• Return staff or travelers must have a break of at least one year before being eligible for rehire as a traveler
• Modules are completed during orientation and average 1-5 hours depending on specialty
• A 50-mile radius rule applies for travel eligibility; locals accepted at a local pay rate

Requirements

• Must hold ARRT certification and a current California Radiologic Technologist license
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in a cardiac catheterization lab required
• Experience scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring interventional cardiology and vascular procedures required
• Must provide two recent professional references obtained within the last year
• License required if applicable
