Invasive Cardiology Technologist

Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:30)

Location: Good Samaritan Hospital

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Invasive Cardiology Technologist to join our dynamic team in the invasive cardiology department. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule Requirements

• Hours: 07:00 - 17:30
• 4 ten-hour shifts, Mondays through Fridays
• Two of three major holidays are required
• No time off is approved between Christmas and New Year
• On-call requirement (as needed by the unit)

Minimum Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT(R)), Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT), or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required
• EPIC charting experience preferred

Unit Information

The invasive cardiology department features:

• Three procedural labs and a 12-bed prep and recovery area
• Capable of handling diagnostic to complex interventions with surgical backup
• Advanced treatment options including Impella and ECMO
• A variety of procedures including cardioversions, implants, and ablations
• Growth into the structural heart side of invasive cardiology

Additional Information

• COVID patient care responsibilities may be required
• Tobacco and fragrance-free facility

• Minimize RTO (Request Time Off) to 7 days maximum
• No license hits accepted
• Local candidates will be offered at a modified bill rate
