Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse – Travel Assignment 

Location: Fredericksburg, Virginia 

Start Date: November 4, 2025 

Duration: 13 Weeks

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse for a high-acuity, fast-paced unit performing advanced cardiovascular procedures. This travel assignment offers the opportunity to work with a collaborative team in a newly renovated facility equipped with state-of-the-art technology. The ideal candidate will have experience in cardiac or critical care and be comfortable circulating and monitoring complex procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Circulate and monitor 12–18 cases per day across three active labs
• Support procedures including TAVRs, Watchman, Cardiomems, Carotids, Impella, CTO, Peripherals, TEVARS/EVARS, and STEMI
• Document using XPER and EPIC systems
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care
• Float within scope to support medical assignments and ED medical holds as needed

Shift Details

• Schedule: Four 10-hour day shifts (07:00 AM – 5:30 PM), alternating Monday–Friday
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• On-Call: Required, including weekends and holidays
• Block Scheduling: Not approved
• Scrubs provided

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in Virginia or Compact State
• Minimum of 1 year of cardiac or critical care experience
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• BSN preferred
• Experience in cardiac cath and/or interventional radiology preferred
• First-time travelers accepted

• RTO and scheduling requests are subject to manager discretion and must be submitted at the time of profile upload

Facility Overview This high-volume Cardiac Cath Lab unit features three newly upgraded Philips labs, each performing 4–7 cases daily. The team is known for its strong work ethic and collaborative spirit, delivering advanced cardiovascular care in a dynamic environment.
