Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist with experience in cardiac caths, device implants, and advanced interventional cardiology procedures.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital-based cath lab setting
• Perform procedures including heart catheterizations, pacemaker and ICD implants, TAVR, EP ablations, Watchman, Impella, IAPB, Shockwave, Penumbra thrombectomy (PE and IC), FFR, and IVUS
• Collaborate with a team of six cardiologists, including two electrophysiologists and four interventionalists
• Day shifts are 4x10 hours, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Call is required as part of the schedule
• Philips imaging equipment is utilized in all five cath labs
• Change Healthcare/Optum is used for hemodynamic monitoring and documentation
• Epic is the hospital’s EMR
• Abbott EP recording and mapping systems are used
• Role includes a variety of high acuity cases and procedural diversity
• Team-based environment with support from multiple attending cardiologists
• Completion of required training modules is expected prior to start
• Day shift schedule with required on-call coverage

Requirements

• Previous experience in a cath lab environment performing advanced cardiac and electrophysiology procedures
• Experience with large healthcare facilities is preferred
• Travel experience is required, but extensive experience may be considered in lieu of prior travel
• Two professional references are required for consideration
• Current AL license required if applicable
