Cath Lab Technician

Bassett Medical Center, NY

This is a 13-week contract position.

Standard Shift: Monday through Friday, 07:00 AM - 05:00 PM (10-hour shifts, 4 days per week). On-call requirements typically include 1 weekday per week and every 5th to 6th weekend, with on-call coverage from Friday at 05:30 PM to Monday at 07:00 AM.

The Cath Lab requires skilled Cath Lab Technicians with solid experience in cardiac catheterization procedures and a strong understanding of advanced imaging technology. Technicians should be proficient with Philips x-ray equipment, Xper monitoring, and Epic software to ensure safe, high-quality patient care. This role is ideal for techs who can function efficiently in a high-acuity setting, with responsibilities that include performing IR, Vascular, and EP cases.

• Perform cardiac catheterization procedures, including IR, Vascular, and EP cases.
• Utilize Philips x-ray equipment and Xper monitoring systems for imaging and monitoring.
• Document and coordinate care using Epic software.
• Adhere to safety protocols and quality standards within the Cath Lab.

• Prior Cath Lab experience is essential.
• Experience with Cath, TAVR, LAAO, EP/pacemakers, ablations, vascular, and IR areas is preferred.
• License/Certificate Verification required upon onboarding.
