Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist with ARRT certification and Louisiana State Board of Radiology licensure to join a cardiac cath and interventional team.

Responsibilities

• Full-time position in a cardiac catheterization lab
• Patient population includes cardiac caths, devices, TAVR, and peripheral interventions
• Day shift schedule, 7AM-3:30PM
• Every third or fourth weekend coverage required
• On-call requirement per collaborative staff schedule
• Temp-to-perm opportunity is possible
• No floating required
• Duties include scrubbing, X-ray equipment operation, and digital image processing
• Responsible for positioning cath lab table and setting imaging angles
• Participation in diagnostic and interventional cardiology, peripheral angiography, and device implantation procedures
• Maintains supply inventory and orderly work environment
• Temp-to-perm may be considered based on performance

Requirements

• Current ARRT certification required—RCIS not accepted
• Louisiana State Board of Radiology license required if applicable
• Current BLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred and highly encouraged
• Experience operating cath lab and digital imaging equipment
• Must demonstrate ability to provide care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
