Location: Albany, NY
Duration: 13 Weeks (Projected Start: 9/15/2025 – End: 11/5/2025)
Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM, Monday–Friday
Call requirement: 1 weeknight and 1 weekend per month
Rotating holidays

Job Responsibilities
Perform advanced diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures within the Cardiac Catheterization Lab.
Operate complex imaging and monitoring equipment to assist physicians during cardiac procedures.
Ensure accuracy and safety in imaging techniques while maintaining patient comfort.
Prepare and maintain sterile fields and assist with catheterization, angioplasty, and other cardiovascular procedures.
Accurately document patient data and imaging results in the EMR system.
Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and technologists to ensure high-quality patient care.
Adhere to all safety, infection control, and radiation protection standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications
Licensure/Certification:
Active New York State Radiologic Technologist license or limited permit to practice.
Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Advanced certification as ARRT-CV or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS).
Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.

Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or similar interventional imaging setting.

Technical Skills:
Proficiency in cardiac imaging systems and hemodynamic monitoring equipment.
Strong understanding of radiation safety and cardiovascular anatomy.
Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.

Preferred SkillsPrevious travel or contract experience in a high-acuity cardiac imaging environment.Demonstrated ability to adapt to fast-paced clinical settings.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
