Schedule: Thursday – Sunday, 8:30 PM – 7:00 AM

Position Overview:
This role requires an experienced sonographer with strong breast ultrasound background due to the complexity of our high-risk patient population. Registration in breast ultrasound is optimal but not required. Must have experience with breast scanning; procedural background in biopsies is a plus, but not required.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program (CHEA/USDOE accreditation in diagnostic medical sonography)

• RDMS certification in Abdominal and OB/Gyn – Required

• Minimum 2 years scanning experience – Required

• Breast ultrasound experience – Required

• Biopsy procedural experience – Preferred

Responsibilities:

• Perform and communicate diagnostic examinations using sonography

• Operate and maintain sonographic equipment; ensure daily Q/A compliance

• Manage patient scheduling and lab operations during assigned shifts

• Utilize independent judgment to differentiate normal vs. pathologic findings

• Obtain thorough medical history and communicate results to radiologists
