Job Summary:
Seeking experienced Respiratory Therapists to provide care for patients in an acute care setting. Responsible for administering respiratory therapies, monitoring ventilated patients, and supporting physician-directed care in critical and non-critical settings.

Qualifications:

• A.A.S. in Respiratory Therapy

• NYS license/registration as a Respiratory Therapist

• Minimum 2 years post-A.A.S. clinical acute care experience

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Duties:

• Administer positive pressure and aerosol therapies

• Institute and monitor oxygen therapy

• Assist physicians with continuous ventilation management

• Administer cardiopulmonary resuscitation

• Perform pulmonary function tests and radial arterial punctures

• Provide majority of patient care functions in the acute care setting with minimal orientation and supervision
